I think of it as “Surf and Turf”.

It’s adults-only at Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an. What a great place to bring friends or make new ones. It’s an outstanding location.

You are right by the ocean and close to Riviera Maya Golf Club, intimate Akumal Beach and Aktun Chen. There is a lot of outdoor fun and exploring near the hotel.   Take a breath and brace yourself for non-stop fun.

Or you can veg by the pool or on the beach. Loungers and hammocks have derailed many enthusiastic plans. Remember that meals and drinks are served until late into the evening hours. Plus you have 24-hour room service.

After a night of dancing at the disco or catching a live show the room service menu looks pretty good. Raid the mini-bar and take the snacks out to the balcony. This is just part of the romance.

Your room may have a great view of the Riviera Maya Golf Club. It’s an 18-hole challenge surrounded by deep pools of water, tropical plants, mangroves and an occasional wild turkey.   You can also tee off on the 9-hole executive course.

Both were designed by famous golf architect Robert Trent Jones II.   Just wait until you tackle Hole 16. It’s long with water from the tee to the hole on your left. Throw in a couple of bunkers and you’ll have trouble just staying dry.

There is a modern bar and restaurant at the Golf Club. Guests can also take advantage of the dressing rooms, showers and swimming pool. There is plenty of brand name rental gear available too.

bahia-experts-travel-bavaro1 You can swap your golf togs for swimsuits and hit the Scubaquatic Center at Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an. Think fun ways to get wet.   This is where you can get coaching on piloting a catamaran, learn windsurfing and share an exciting banana boat ride with your friends.

It’s to feel like time is racing away between the land and sea activities. The wide selection of excursions that tempt your time. The bars, restaurants, spa and casino at Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an can make you dizzy with choices.

What do I call golf and aquatic adventures?

Surf and turf of course.
