Fozzles and Chili Dips did not stop me.

Grand Bahia Principe Turquesa offers everything the newcomer or veteran golfer could desire, including not just one, but several spectacular golf courses nearby.

There are lots of green treats within 5-40 minutes of the lobby.

Just wait until you get to Hole 16. There are over 500 combinations of pin placements and tee positions on this par-3 hole. The green is an enormous 42 yards deep and 25 yards wide.

It’s also protected by anything you can dream up except a team of Superheroes.

It’s just part of the fun at Cocotal Golf and Country Club. There is a club house, pro shop and drinks on the course.

La Cana Golf Club is a P.B. Dye design of 27 holes. There are three nines, Hacienda, Tortuga and Arrecife. Caddies are available but optional.

Play 4 holes along the ocean. Ten holes have sea views. Plus you will enjoy the club grill, bar and beverage cart service.

Punta Blanca Gold Club is 18 holes of fun just 5 minutes from Grand Bahia Principe Turquesa. It’s clean and has a sweet layout. The pro shop has all your rental needs covered.

Bavaro Golf is a par-72 just 20 minutes from your suite. Think 25 inland lakes, 122 bunkers and a giant mangrove forest. You will find it fun and challenging.

Guests are entitled to enjoy everything at Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro also. The resort minibus provides free transportation. This multiplies the number of dining, entertainment and activity choices.

The suites are wonderful and perfect for families. The buffet has tasty dishes for every appetite and age. The specialty restaurants are very creative. The kids have their own club, pool and activities too.

Relax around the pool, use the drink service on the beach or treat yourself to a Spa visit. There are plenty of romantic and fun activities for the adults.

bahia-experts-travel-turquesaThe kids are kept excited and busy at the beach, pool and their own waterpark. I was tired and happy after 27 holes of golf and planned a very lazy and self-indulgent end of my day at Grand Bahia Principe Turquesa.

What do you suppose the kids wanted to do?

If you guessed mini-golf, you must be a parent. I just smiled.

No fozzles or chili dips on the mini-golf course.
