Is there mud in your eye?

You are close to the Riviera Maya Golf Club, Akumal Beach and Aktun Chen when you wrap yourself in the lavish Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an.

You may never leave the resort but if you do I recommend a visit to Aktun Chen Natural Park.

You will hear people talking about the excitement of riding bikes through the jungle, riding the underground river and zip lines that glide through the tropical canopies.

Golfers are amazed by the mangroves, freshwater wells and thick tropical plants that smother the Maya Riviera Golf Club. Picture 18 long holes and 9 executive holes all designed by the famous golf architect Robert Trent Jones II.

Hint.  It’s worth it to pack your own golf shoes. You can rent the rest of your gear.

It’s adults-only at Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an.

Just perfect for honeymooners, destination weddings and anniversary celebrations.   It’s a great spot for couples, groups of friends and company retreats.

It’s easy to stay plugged in while enjoying your suite. Mini-bar, LCD TV, complimentary wireless internet access and satellite programming are great for every guest. A private balcony is magic.

It makes sense that you can visit the spa and the gourmet restaurants. The truth is that you can kick the romance up a notch with a couple’s massage and in-suite dining.

You can always greet the sunrise with pastries and coffee on the balcony.

Quick Reminder!

Reservations are required for tee times at the golf course, spa treatments and massages.

You should also make dinner reservations at Yal-ku, Alux and Maiko restaurants.

Yal-ku serves breakfast, lunch and dinner while Maiko only serves dinner. Check with the front desk for restaurant times and note any special dietary needs or restrictions.

bahia-experts-travel-sian-kaan-beachTake time to play in the sand on the beautiful beach where you can have drinks and snacks on a comfortable lounger in the shade.   Make some time for a rejuvenating Mayan Mud Treatment at the Spa.

Top off the evening with some “mud in your eye” at the various bars and lounges at Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an.   And don’t forget your Grandfather’s immortal advice.

Sometimes it’s okay to get sand in your pants and mud in your eye.
