Shopping

My Mom is a shopping Ninja.

Most people come to Grand Bahia Principe Tulum for the luxury, the spa, the gourmet dining, the beautiful beach and stunning pools.

My Mom would go for the shopping.

Let’s face it. The Riviera Maya is nearly synonymous with “paradise” with its legendary natural beauty and world class beaches.

This is the land of corn, tomato, chilies and avocados.  The best tacos, enchiladas and tortillas are right here.  You will find the best examples of authentic Mexican dishes at the Tequila Restaurant.

You can dress up and make reservations at Don Pablo for raspberry magret of duck. Experience the Brazilian way at La Gran Tortuga-Rodizio.   Think perfectly grilled meat on long skewers with a variety of vegetable dishes on the side.

Guests at Grand Bahia Principe Tulum enjoy the use of dining, pools and more at sister resorts. Leave your hiking boots at home. The resort operates its own mini-train service to shuttle vacationers throughout the complex.

You can look forward to organized activities at the pools for kids and adults. There are special events at the kid’s mini-club for ages 4-12 years of age. You can even try an intro to Scuba diving in the pool.

Be sure to try out the amazing golf course that literally wraps around the resort . You can recharge in the pool afterwards. Try the Jacuzzi at the pool or the sunbathing terrace.

Still tight? Reserve a Spa visit. All sorts of exotic treatments and massages are available. You can be inside the spa or get rejuvenated at an outdoor gazebo.

The hydrotherapy circuit has saunas, pools, bubble beds and foot bath.

Shopping is one of the most popular attractions for vacationers.

Shopping VillageShopping can be for a purpose, for sport or for passion.   Craft shops have countless items that embody the notorious Aztec and Mayan peoples. Art, jewelry, and glassware are all popular purchases.

You can shop your way to Cancun and back when you stay at Grand Bahia Principe Tulum. The front desk can make recommendations about towns where vendors are open to haggling. It’s very safe to shop in the area.

Unless you get between my Mom and a bargain.
