Desserts at Bahia

Remember rocking out to Meatloaf?

During your family vacation at Grand Bahia Principe La Romana you can forget the dashboard and the meatloaf.

It’s all paradise!

Picture awesome sunsets, a tranquil bay and a romantic supper for two on a dock thrusting into the ocean.   There are uncrowded a la carte restaurants, nightly entertainment and sizeable suites.

You can share the excitement of windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and lots more fun on the water. For an additional fee you can tee off at the on-site golf course or book a spa visit.

It’s easy to embrace the pace and that speed is sometimes like slow motion. You may find yourself sprawled out on beach loungers, palapas or hammocks with drinks and snacks.

The animation team at Grand Bahia Principe La Romana is hard to resist when they enthusiastically involve you in the fun poolside or at the beach.

Remember that the children’s club is free. After their first visit the kids will hurry through their free breakfast to join the fun. That leaves the adults free to visit the spa or gym.

Dining out does not include meatloaf. I made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on our last vacation. At Grand Bahia Principe La Romana I have duck with orange jelly.

I used to get excited about the “Mac” and cheese at my local deli.   After the dazzling variety of Italian dishes at Il Capriccio I know I’ve been spoiled now.

Quick recommendation. Stop by the Burguer Principe for pizza, snacks and burgers but ask the chef for his special shrimp burger.

All 224 Superior Junior Suites are located in stunning villas on immaculate Santana beach. The maximum occupancy is 3 adults and one child.

You have a choice of one king-size bed or 2 full-size beds. There is also a sofa bed in your room that gives you more sleeping options.

Imagine the kids watching a movie at the end of a full day while you and your spouse relax on the balcony with a nightcap as the moon rises over the Caribbean.

Memories for the whole family are waiting at Grand Bahia Principe La Romana.

Memories that will forever be triggered by simple things …

Like a song playing on the radio.
