Looking for Nemo?

While you are soaking up the luxury at Grand Bahia Principe San Juan you can discover the world of SpongeBob Square Pants.

It can be hard to pry yourself out of you gorgeous Suite.   Air conditioning, private patios or balconies, the bulging mini-bar, and satellite TV conspire to steal your ability to move out the door. But try.

There are massages, body treatments and facials waiting at the Spa. Gourmet dining, swim-up bars, and a Casino are calling your name.   There are supervised activities for ages 4-12 at their own club.

You can ride bikes, try parasailing or tackle the golf course at Grand Bahia Principe San Juan.

The pools and beach will soon have you thinking about Hobie Cat sailing, windsurfing or trying something new like Scuba in the resort pool.

There are some extra fees involved but if you are interested in Scuba Diving you only need to visit ScubaQuatic.

At ScubaQuatic you can take an introductory Scuba course that includes a Scuba theory class, a practical lesson conducted in the pool and then one dive in the ocean in 40 feet or less of water.

The PADI Scuba Diver course takes a couple of days filled with theory classes, lots of educational materials, practical lessons in the pool followed by 2 open water dives up to 40 feet deep.

After the intensive 2 day course you will be certified to dive down to 40 feet accompanied by a dive master. There are progressive levels of certification like PADI Open Water that allows you to plan your own dives down to 60 feet.

Other certifications are PADI Advanced Open Water, PADI Rescue Diver and PADI Dive Master. Check it out online before you travel. There is a medical statement you and your doctor can fill out before you trade home for paradise.

For more watery fun consider a Sunset Tour on a romantic 2 hour boat ride up the coast complete with music, drinks and a swim stop.   You can also go whale watching, take a party boat to Bacardi Island or try deep sea fishing.

Catching a blue or white Marlin can be utterly thrilling during your stay at Grand Bahia Principe San Juan. Imagine returning home with the good news.

I found Nemo.
